Our first litter has been born in Naples!

Our bunnies moved to their new colonies down in Naples and we are starting to have babies!  The first litter is a lilac chinchilla x pearl breeding.  We won't know for a few days on what colors there are for sure.  These are such precious times!

It's been a while!

A lot has happened here at CBB over the last few months.  We moved!  That is probably the biggest news.  I completed multiple transport trips that covered thousands of miles across the midwest and eastern USA.  I am now taking a break from transport!  However, a good friend down in Naples, FL has picked up where I left off.  Not only are they transporting, they have taken on my entire herd.  Our bunnies have been moved down to Naples!  They are colonized now and loving it.  It is just temporary, until I build a new rabbitry.  The new rabbitry will be a colony as well.  The rabbits are so happy in a colony that I will not take that from them.  I am not sure where this will be just yet, but I am working on that right now!

We have just one baby that is still in need of a home.  A chocolate agouti buck we call Bear.  He looks like a little teddy bear. Such a sweet little bunny and just adorable as you can get. He is posted on the Bunnies for Sale page.

We are now in Missouri.  We most likely will not be here for long as I need to get back to the farm and we are working at getting closer to some of our kids distance wise.  We will update this info as we know more.  In the mean time, we will continue to have baby bunnies that will be available via transport with My Bunny Village Transport out of Naples.  I will be helping them with setting up their monthly routes and also with their sales of their bunnies too!  So we always have bunnies available!

We have a few new additions to the rabbitry.  My oldest daughter Kelsi bought a cute, small group of Holland Lops as those are her favorite bunnies.  She likes maintenance free and loppy ears.  We will have a page set up soon for her HL here very soon.  She also purchased two Continental Giants.  They are young still so there won't be any CG babies for quite a while!  The two were supposed to be a pair of does but it didn't turn out that way.  We now have a breeding pair.  Look for updates on those big guys this fall.

Our website will go through lots of changes here very soon.  We have lots of pages to add and we have done a little adjusting to our My Bunnies page as well.  We no longer have a couple of our sire bucks and we have added a couple of new girls.  We have also fostered out a breeding pair of bunnies to a friend/customer here in MO while we are without our rabbitry.  There is never a dull moment here!

at country bumpkin bunnies we adore our bunnies

'Rabbits have a subtle repertoire of body language to communicate so they don't draw attention to themselves. They use these signals to bond with their hutch mates, and the humans in their lives to say 'I love you'.
