The Latest News About Our Journey

We welcome anyone to pick up at our home if they are able to drive to St. Louis.

At Country Bumpkin Bunnies we are a firm believer in always being open and transparent (total "over-sharer" right here!). English Angora Rabbits is my personal passion and I strive to raise my rabbits to be the friendliest bunnies that create fond, fun memories with their forever family. I truly believe that life is about the journey and I want to savor every second of it!

I thought I would just let everyone know that sometimes we do have bunnies that we offer at a discount rate. These are usually because something cosmetic makes them not "normal". For example, sometimes momma's get a little aggressive when cleaning after kindling. I have had a toe, tail, and ear bit off or chewed on. This along with an occasional floppy ear, we do not sell them at full price. If you are in the market for a pet or fiber bunny and can't afford some of the prices, please let me know and I can put you on a waiting list for one of our special bunnies or we may have one coming up. Right now we have three bunnies that each had one ear drop (flop) and we do not know why. It can't be genetic because we have had these lines for so long. It isn't the normal thing to happen but sometimes, some cartilage is just not as strong and does not hold tight in place. We do not recommend breeding these bunnies but their imperfections do not cause them to be any less of a pet than any other bunny. These bunnies are so friendly and affectionate that a ear lopped over should not matter to someone that just wants a loving companion and/or a fiber bunny to do some beautiful fiber art with. So reach out to me if you want a discounted bunny price! We can accommodate you right now :)

Meet Our Bunny Bumpkins Team

Hi! I'm the heart behind every bunny you see on this website. I fell in love with these fluffy babies and had to have them. I socialize them and spend time with them every chance I get. Occasionally I feed and clean but I'm usually caught slacking on that part of the job and excelling at snuggling them 100% of the time.

I am the chief groomer, cleaner and feeder. I TRY to leave the snuggling to the kids although these sweet fur balls have become a quick obsession of mine. I find myself giving bunny kisses often. I take the blame for the excessive number of bunnies we own lol.

I'm the errand boy. Anything they need, I go get it. I pick up about 600 lbs of feed and a couple bales of hay every two weeks!  I'm also caught trying to train the baby bunnies to come to me right out of the nest box as soon as their eyes open (every litter). I can't resist these cute little bunnies.

I am the brains behind the genetics and planned litters. I take most of the pictures and videos and handle all the finances of the biz. My kids are infatuated with every single bunny and enjoy getting to hold the bunnies when allowed. Sometimes they even get to help water the bunnies.

at country bumpkin bunnies we adore our bunnies

'Rabbits have a subtle repertoire of body language to communicate so they don't draw attention to themselves. They use these signals to bond with their hutch mates, and the humans in their lives to say 'I love you'.
