So we are going to be retrieving our herd from FL finally. This will happen this month (August) sometime. We are in the process of buying a new farm and are very excited to get our bunnies back!
There has been quite a loss in our rabbitry over the last few months. We lost over half of our herdsires, our harlequin program took a huge hit and an unknown number of kits. The death was a snowball affect of stress related illness'. We are waiting to place any surviving kits until after we pick up the herd. I will need to evaluate them and their health before letting any of them go.
We also will be acquiring a small herd from a good friend of mine. She is getting out of raising EA and has some gorgeous show quality stock (as well as some stock out of some of our herd that we lost in FL). We are excited to bring in the new herd!
Look forward to seeing lots of changes to our website. We will be posting new pics of all our bunnies, new additions and all of the new things at the new farm! Ahnika is going to dabble in a few new things and so am I! We are on the fast road to homesteading. So exciting!
