Photo of the barn here in MO. As Ahnika says, its good to be back in the barn! We love our barn and the bunnies have a nice set up. Sometimes it gets a little messy but they enjoy having fresh air and not cooped up in the house. It took some work to get here but we finally have what we wanted!
EDITED: This barn is NOT where our rabbits are housed currently. If you have followed us, we have moved several times over the years. This time we moved and the bunnies are all in the garage in the same cages/set up. In the near future, we will have a permanent farm for them and update this page at that time. For past pictures of our old rabbitry, scroll down to the bottom of this page.

Our old rabbitry in KY:
We have odds and ends that we have put together to build cages and hutches. Some are custom made by my PaPa. He even turned a baby crib into a kit cage. We use the bigger hutches like this to wean our babies off of the mom slowly. This is all temporary until we build our Bunny Palace. It will have rooms for each bunny with a doggy door that leads to outside play area/run for each bunny. We are designing it as we are learning what the bunnies like and need. Once we get it all figured out, we will build the perfect house with air conditioning and heat. We are also hoping to put a room in the building to spin and felt!
Each horse stall is 12 x 12 and fit several hutches. I am painting the walls right now to make it fun.
The first set of pictures (below) are Nadia's house. She is hanging out on her shelf where she spends most of her time. This is where she is when she isn't out playing in the play pen binkying.
The hanging cages are suspended and without trays under them. The floor has to be shoveled twice a week and we keep barn lime down on the ground. Bunnies are not allowed on the floor inside the barn.
Below are a couple of our kit cages that were custom built for litters to grow out and wean in. They are the size of a baby crib. The only trouble we had with these was the shelf made a nice litter box for some of the babies. So much so, that we had to zip tie a litter box on the shelf! We raised a litter of 12 REW/Pointed White EA in these! They had dirty yellow feet very quickly. For this reason, we had to rethink our shelf idea.
