Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my bunny site, Country Bumpkin Bunnies. My name is Ahnika. I chose my favorite breeds of bunnies after visiting a friend and seeing their rabbits. They had double mane lionhead rabbits and I just loved those fluffy little furballs! After purchasing a few rabbits, I decided that the English Angora rabbit was the breed for me. I have found that this breed doesn't mind being held and cuddled and they don't bite me! English Angoras are the friendliest bunnies I have ever been around. We have owned a few other breeds but the EA have become an all time favorite here!

For those that do not know, we opened our Rabbitry while living in Kentucky. We still get calls where people think we are still there. We then spent a couple of years in St. Louis, MO before we made our permanent move to central Illinois. Our rabbitry is located in Dunlap Illinois where we reside. Our buns get transported all over the United States and Canada now. We have quite a few breeding programs. I believe we have had almost all colors in English Angoras! We have baby bunnies posted on our Nursery and Bunnies for Sale pages. We post Updates often in our blog as well.

If you see something you think you have to have, Contact my mom. She usually gets all the emails. I'm in high school now, and I stay extremely busy with studies and band. On breaks, my job "CBS", is to snuggle all the bunnies as much as I possibly can! I am the CHIEF BUNNY SNUGGLER. How do you think our bunnies got the reputation of being the friendliest out there? Yep that's me xoxo

Meet Our Bunny Bumpkins Team

Hi! I'm the heart behind every bunny you see on this website. I fell in love with these fluffy babies and had to have them. I socialize them and spend time with them every chance I get. Occasionally I feed and clean but I'm usually caught slacking on that part of the job and excelling at snuggling them 100% of the time.

I am the chief groomer, cleaner and feeder. I TRY to leave the snuggling to the kids although these sweet fur balls have become a quick obsession of mine. I find myself giving bunny kisses often. I take the blame for the excessive number of bunnies we own lol.

I'm the errand boy. Anything they need, I go get it. I pick up about 600 lbs of feed and a couple bales of hay every two weeks! I'm also caught trying to train the baby bunnies to come to me right out of the nest box as soon as their eyes open (every litter). I can't resist these cute little bunnies.

I am the brains behind the genetics and planned litters. I take most of the pictures and videos and handle all the finances of the biz. My kids are infatuated with every single bunny and enjoy getting to hold the bunnies when allowed. Sometimes they even get to help water the bunnies.
